Island cooking includes Creole and American dishes. Locally made Bello Hot Pepper Sauce is served with almost everything.

Creole specialities include:

  • crabbacks (backs of red and black crabs stuffed with seasoned crab meat)
  • lambi (conch)
  • tee-ree-ree (tiny freshly spawned fish)

Island fruit juices combined with rum are excellent.
